Adapter for DS2000 DB9 Female to Mod 8 Jack For connecting to laptop
Use this adaptor with a Cat5 network cable to program your system, update it, and backup and restore system programming. It connects to a 9-pin serial port (DB9) on COM1, COM2, or any COM port in your PC and the RJ-45 plug on the other end plugs into your DS1000 system. If you have a DS2000, you need the Din8 cable available in the store. The cable requires the NEC administration software which comes with most systems, or can be downloaded for free.
